The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs is responsible for following up on the work of the academic departments, encouraging them to adhere to the instructions issued by the Deanship, and seeking to resolve all obstacles and challenges that may hinder the departments’ work. He also encourages staff members to perform to the best of their abilities in order to provide the best possible service to our dear students.
The tasks and authorities of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs include:
1. Organizing weekly lesson schedules in coordination with the scientific departments and based on classroom availability to ensure the smooth running of lectures.
2. Supervising the weekly lecture records.
3. Monitoring student attendance and discipline according to the applicable regulations and instructions.
4. Overseeing the admission process for new students.
5. Verifying student transfer cases to and from the college.
6. Supervising annual statistics.
7. Organizing final examination schedules in coordination with the scientific departments.
8. Coordinating with scientific departments regarding the submission of examination questions for both the first and second rounds.
9. Distributing and collecting examination booklets according to the established rules.
10. Announcing final examination results after their approval.
11. Enforcing uniform regulations for students and taking disciplinary actions against violators.
